Current Bidding Projects

Sealed Bids for the construction of Contract 1.0 – Scotland Elementary School will be received by Scotland County, at the Scotland County Government Office at 517 Peden Street, Laurinburg, North Carolina 28352, until 10:00 am local time on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.  The Project consists of installation of approximately 1,320 feet of 4-inch force main, 1,300 feet of 12-inch water line, gravel access drive, new pump station and all appurtenances. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents must be obtained from Willis Engineers in order to be considered an official plan holder.  Bidding Documents may be obtained, upon payment of $100.00 for each set.  The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents.  Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office.  Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 am local time on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Scotland County Government Office, 517 Peden Street, Laurinburg, North Carolina 28352.  Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.

Recently Bid Projects

Sealed Bids for the construction of Contract 7.0 – Frederick Avenue Water Line were received by the City of Laurinburg on Thursday, September 27, 2018.  The Project consists of installation of approximately 835 linear feet of 6-inch water line, 9 service connections and all appurtenances. A temporary 2-inch water line will be constructed to maintain water service for customers affected by the new water line construction.

City of Laurinburg – Frederick Avenue Water Line

The Town of Mooresville received bids for the Washwater Basin Improvements project on July 12, 2018.  The project consists of improvements to the existing washwater basin at the Town of Mooresville Water Treatment Plant #1.

Town of Mooresville – Washwater Basin Improvements

The project consists of constructing a new vacuum truck receiving station and appurtenant facilities in addition to demolishing the existing vacuum truck receiving station at the Zone 4 Facility.  Bids were received on June 7, 2018, for the results refer to the Charlotte Water website.

Charlotte Water – Vacuum Truck Receiving Station

The Project consists of removing and replacing the existing mechanical and electrical equipment at the Barnes Bridge Road Pump Station.  Bids were received on March 22, 2018

The Project consists of removal of the existing hydraulic grinder and installation of mechanical screening equipment, conveyor equipment and all appurtenances.  Bids were received on March 6, 2018.

Town of Mooresville – McCrary Creek Pump Station Improvements

Bids were received for the construction of Contract 8.0 – Dewatering and Incinerator Building Exterior Renovations were received, by the Water and Sewer Authority of Cabarrus County (WSACC).  The Project consists of repair and recoating the exterior of the Dewatering and Incinerator Buildings at the Rocky River Wastewater Treatment Plant.  Work includes a 5,000 psi soda blast surface preparation and a two coat acrylic coating system.
