The Town of Mooresville retained Willis Engineers to design new sewer facilities along Back Creek to provide long-term sewer service to the Town’s North Service Area. These facilities include several thousand feet of large diameter interceptor, approximately 21,000 feet of 24-inch force main, and a new pump station. The project will also include the decommissioning of several aging pump stations.

The first phase of the project is already under construction and includes approximately 8,600 feet of 24-inch force main. This phase will also include a connection to the force main of the Town’s existing Northside Pump Station to the new 24-inch force main. The existing force main is 12-inch in diameter and significantly limits the capacity of the pump station.
