Current Bidding Projects

Sealed Bids for the construction of Contract 10.0 – Pump Station No. 19 Improvements will be received, by the City of Laurinburg, at City Hall, 303 W. Church Street, Room 221, Laurinburg, North Carolina until 2:00 pm local time on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.  The project consists of new screening equipment and structure, diversion box structure, manholes, 24-inch sewer line, site work and electrical work.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract.  Bids shall be on a lump sum or unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form.

Sealed Bids for the construction of Contract 9.0 – Pump Station Renovations (PS 8, 12, 13) were  received by the City of Laurinburg on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at which time the Bids received were publicly opened and read.  The project consists of the complete renovation of three pumping stations, including the addition of new pumps, piping, a fiberglass wet well enclosure, electrical equipment and site improvements.

Construction Cost Estimate: $800,000

Sealed Bids for the construction of the North Service Area Booster Pump Station were received by the Town of Mooresville on February 27, 2020, at which time the Bids received were be publicly opened and read.  The Project consists of constructing a booster pumping station and all appurtenances.

Town of Mooresville – North Service Area Booster Pump Station

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Dutchman’s Creek Parallel Sewer were received by the City of Mount Holly on October 24, 2019, at which time the Bids received were publicly opened and read.  The Project consists of constructing approximately 8,600 linear feet of 30-inch gravity sewer and all appurtenances.

City of Mount Holly – Dutchman’s Creek Parallel Sewer

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Rocky River Regional WWTP Thickener Mechanism Replacement were received by the Water and Sewer Authority of Cabarrus County (WSACC), on April 23, 2019, at which time the Bids received were be publicly opened and read.  The Project consists of replacement of two circular gravity sludge thickener mechanisms and associated work.

Bids for the construction of the Steele Creek Sewer Sanitary Sewerage System Improvements were received by Charlotte Water March 7, 2019, at which time the Bids received were publicly opened and read. The Project consists of constructing approximately 11,530 feet of sewer along Steele Creek varying in size from 24-inch to 36-inch diameter, approximately 2,100 feet of interconnecting sewer varying in size from 8-inch to 18-inch diameter, 55 manholes and all appurtenances.

Construction Estimate: $11,100,000

Charlotte Water – Steele Creek Sewer Sanitary Sewerage System Improvements

Sealed Bids for the construction of Contract 11.0 – Dutchman’s Creek WWTP Renovation was received by the Town of Mocksville on January 24, 2019, at which time the Bids received were publicly opened and read.  The Project consists of constructing a headworks structure with screening, two clarifiers, a sludge pumping station, and an aerobic digester. Ancillary equipment will also be added as part as this project, including blowers, process pumps, and a sludge thickener.

Construction Estimate: $3,300,000
