Sealed Bids for the construction of Contract 17.4 – Pump Stations 9, 14, 15, and 17 will be received by the City of Laurinburg at City Hall, 303 W. Church Street, Room 221, Laurinburg, North Carolina 28352 until 2:00pm local time on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.  The Project consists of renovation to four pump stations, including new pumps, valves, piping, wet well coating, electrical equipment, and site improvements.  

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract.  Bids shall be on a lump sum or unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form.

The Issuing Office for Bidding Documents is Duncan Parnell (https://bidroom.duncan-parnell.com).  Documents may be obtained for a purchase price as listed on their website.  All payments are to be made to Duncan Parnell.  Prospective bidders must purchase Bidding Documents directly through Duncan Parnell in order to be considered an official plan holder.  Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00am local time on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at the Laurinburg City Hall, 303 W. Church Street, Room 221, Laurinburg, North Carolina 28352.  Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.

Bids for the Lead Service Line Inventory, Vacuum Excavation Field Verifications will be received by the City of Laurinburg until 5:00pm local time on Thursday, September 12, 2024.  Bids shall be submitted via email to Harold Haywood at hhaywood@laurinburg.org.  Receipt of the Bid will be acknowledged by return email.  The Project consists of vacuum excavation of water service connections on both sides of specified water meters to verify pipe materials at service connection.  The work consists of verification of pipe materials on both sides of 354 meters located in the City of Laurinburg.
