The City of Laurinburg took ownership of a number of small pump stations in the southeast area of town as part of an annexation project. These pump stations have now reached the end of their useful life and are becoming extremely problematic. The City therefore undertaking a routine rehabilitation program to improve the quality of two or three pump stations per year over the next several years. The first three pump stations are complete and included installation of an above ground valve vault over a renovated wet well, a complete replacement of the electrical systems and installation of a new generator.
